MEMORIAL PARK, Off South West Hwy (just south of the town), Pinjarra
This is a rare opportunity. GEORGE WALLEY - local historian, cultural liaison for City of Mandurah and wonderful singer/songwriter will bring local Aboriginal history alive with stories and songs of the massacre and events leading to that day.
GUIDED TOUR will follow simple morning tea (included in ticket price)
BRING PICNIC LUNCH for sharing, from 12.15pm at Cantwell Park, Pinjarra (just south of the bridge, beside the river)
SONGS - George and friends will perform his own songs during the tour and again at lunchtime, when he'll invite all to join him.
TRANSPORT: Make your own way to Memorial Park. (Car pooling recommended.)
BRING a folding chair, hat, sunscreen and water.
Memorial Park is off South West Highway Just south of the town, opposite the cemetery and just past turn off to the hospital.
